very much in love with ms grande’s new stuff so i decided to revisit "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" (2004, dir. michel gondry) again. *phew* it’s legit one of my all-time faves like if that letterboxed interviewer guy asked me on the red carpet for my top four picks, eternal sunshine would be right up there. it’s just such a beautiful story about love, memories, growth, through the lens of gondry’s quirky twists. the first time i watched this, i was totally in awe. at that time i thought i knew what love was. but then on this second viewing, i found myself bawling like a baby. despite all the ups and downs i’ve had, i don’t know love at all... i am also very drawn to clementine’s character (as portrayed by kate winslet). her impulsive nature just brings life to everyone around her, but at the same time, she’s all about being proud and liberated in her own unique way. --which i always aspire to be. lastly, got to give props to ari & her director for payin...
